Hotell: Radisson Blu Hotel Norge Bergen

Oppgradert: Ja til businessclass - Skrev på forhånd og spurte om mulighet for upgrade.

We stayed here for 2 Nights from 04.09.15 - 06.09.15.
Check in was quick and the staff who greeted us were friendly. Upgraded from a standard room to business class room due to my Club Carlson Gold elite status.
As an CC Gold Elite holder I'm supposed to get an In-Room Welcome Gift at the room upon arrival (usually some fresh fruit, water, etc.) this was not at the room, a minor detail, but at good hotel it`s all about the details. The room itself was large and had everything we needed, iron, Nespresso machine, bathrobe, slippers and a big bathtub. Other than that the room was really worn out. The floor was full of scratches, ac-system was missing a cover, cardboard cover up a piece of missing tile at the bathroom.
At the minibar we found a half empty wine bottle (returned in to the reception)
the room could not have seen any renovation in at least 20 years.
The view from the hotel room was very very nice, overlooking the Lille Lungegårdsvann from top to bottom panorama windows.
I used the One Touch app to communicate with the concierge as I had a couple of questions. Quick reply from the concierge. I also used the same app to order some extra towels, worked like a charm.
The first morning we ate at the buffet breakfast at the restaurant, standard breakfast nothing special but overall good.
The second morning we had booked room service breakfast, it arrived right on time, but that is all I can say was positive about this. As we began to eat I noticed that the bread provided was full of black bread mold. I was disgusted and lost my appetite.
Both the bread and breakfast rolls must have been a week old. You just CAN`T serve molded bread!!! I am sure to give my feedback to the hotel manager about this. I have provided picture of this so that you can see that I am not making this up.
We were granted a late check-out upon request. This hotel has a lot of potential but has lots and lots of work to do to retain its position from its glory days.

* the hotel room were totally worn out
* They served molded bread at breakfast room service
* Half empty wine bottle (probably opened by the previous guests)

Står ihvertfall some perk på siden enda men kan hende det er no endring på gang. Radisson i sommer kjørte ihvertfall dette.

Oppgradert: Nja, resepsjonisten beklaget at hotellet dessverre var helt fullt, og at oppgradering derfor ikke lot seg gjøre. Han fant allikevel frem til den han kalte "det fineste rommet bortsett fra Business, og at dette hadde vært et Business Class-rom inntil nylig". Rommet var helt topp, men kaffen manglet selvsagt.

Sist jeg sjekket kunne man få for opptil tre rom.
Også fått familierommene hver 4 av fem ganger på Park in OSL. Sist var vi to voksne og to barn og fikk et gedigent fruktfat.
Alle som er med på Do neste helg, eller holder det å bo på et Radisson neste helg? Etter en uke offshore mner kona det er feil prioritering å fly fly bare for å fly av en eller annen grunn, men hotellopphold som innbefatter henne er hun med på.
Å fly bare for å fly er veldig viktig.
