    Cuvée Grand Siècle, Champagne Laurent-Perrier, Frankreich
    • In its prestige cuvée Grand Siècle, Laurent-Perrier unites two fundamental concepts of traditional champagne production: the marriage of various terroirs and vintages. The Grand Siècle is composed of Pinot Noir and of a somewhat larger amount of Chardonnay from the absolute top terroirs in the Champagne. Only those grapes of three especially good harvests are selected. The result is a balanced and complex champagne, its variety of subtle aromas a feast for the senses.
    Champagne Fleur de Miraval ER3, Frankreich
    • ER3 is the third edition of Fleur de Miraval, a premium Champagne Rosé from Brad Pitt and the Perrin family. An excellent Champagne Brut disgorged in May 2022 after 3 years of aging on lees. The scent of wild berries, white flowers and smoky notes is highly complex. Just as fascinating, it shows a finely bubbled mousse on the palate with hints of citrus fruits and almonds, before its long finish ends with a superb chalky minerality.

    2022 Reiterpfad Riesling Großes Gewächs, Motzenbäcker, Pfalz, Deutschland
    • The winner of the Riesling guest wine tasting! Four generations of the Menger- Krug family live and work in the Motzenbäcker winery in the heart of the Palatinate. The vineyards in and around Deidesheim and Ruppertsberg are predominantly planted with Riesling. This slender and nuanced Riesling from the Reiterpfad vineyard shows delicious peach and mirabelle fruit as well as fine creaminess, the delicate acidity carries the aromas into a spicy-salty finale.

    2022 Weissburgunder Im Kirschgarten, Weingut Georg Nägele, Pfalz, Deutschland
    • Since 1796 the winery Nägele is run in family tradition. Eva and Ralf Bonnet, the 7th generation, have the aspiration to produce excellent wines as best ambassadors of their region – the Pfalz. Their Weissburgunder from the single vineyard Im Kirschgarten is a fascinating dry wine with an opulent juicy apple fruit, a powerful body and a long lasting aftertaste with great mineral accents. Awesome!
    2021 Cigalus, Gerard Bertrand, Languedoc, Frankreich
    • Domaine Cigalus is one of the first biodynamic wineries in the Languedoc. The white Cigalus is made of Chardonnay, Viognier and Sauvignon predominantly fermented and aged in new barriques. The intense bouquet of Cigalus shows fruit of yellow apple, vanilla and roasted aromas. Powerful and complex on the palate, it is soft and supple in the long finish.
    2020 Sauvignon Blanc Lafóa, Colterenzio, Alto Adige, Italien
    • The Sauvignon Blanc from the Lafóa vineyard represents the pioneering achievements of the Schreckbichl winery. Since 1993, the Sauvignon Blanc Lafóa has been the epitome of fascinating finesse and great aging potential. Its expressive scent of elderberry, gooseberries, acacia and herbs is appealing and highly complex. On the palate, notes of passion fruit play with a fine, ripe acidity and salty accents.

    2013 Château Batailley Grand Cru Classé, Pauillac, Bordeaux, Frankreich
    • The Grand Cru Classé Château Batailley is the flagship of the Casteja and Borie-Manoux families. The average age of the vines is over 40 years, half of the wooden barrels are renewed every year. The classic Pauillac with a high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon pleases with its delicate style, which is less characterized by power than by the harmonious and stimulating drinking flow.
    2017 Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, Chateau Ste. Michelle, Washington, USA
    • Red Mountain is the smallest American Viticultural area (AVA) in size, and also the warmest in Washington. In this hot, dry climate with weak soils, the vines only produce small-berry grapes. This Cabernet Sauvignon is concentrated and powerful with intense blueberry and blackberry fruit, which is complemented by fine roast aromas. An impressive wine with great aging potential.
    2017 Pangea Syrah Apalta Vineyard, Viña Ventisquero, Chile
    • Pangea is the name of the original continent from which all continents arose. For this wine, the cellar masters from two continents – John Duval from Australia and Felipe Tosso from Chile – combined their skills to create this exceptional Syrah from the Apalta vineyard. The rich, opulent cherry fruit is accompanied by notes of bay leaf and olive tapenade. The ultra-fine tannins give a spicy note.
    2017 „Sofia“ Bobal, Valencia DO, de Moya, Spanien
    • The very old vines (between 73 and 96 years) of the Bobal and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) varieties come from locations at 850 meters above sea level. Thanks to extremely low yields of less than 1 kilo of fruit per vine, the result is a full-bodied, concentrated wine that matures in new barrels for 12 months. With a garnet red color, it shows dark berry fruit, dried fruit and herbal spices on the nose. It is velvety and balsamic on the palate, with a peppery spiciness it ends in a long lingering finish.

    2018 Riesling Auslese Bockstein, Nik Weis, St. Urbanshof, Mosel, Deutschland
    • The Ockfener Bockstein, is considered as one of the best steep slope vineyard on the Saar. Nik Weis produced here a brilliant Riesling Auslese that - typical for the Saar - combines a dancing complexity with finesse and elegance. Aromas of pineapple, passion fruit and mango are accompanied by salty minerality, its ripe acidity is well integrated. This fine Auslese shines with amazing subtlety.
    Spirits Recommendation

    Tarocco Blutorange Geist, DSM Berlin, Deutschland
    • Tarocco is a Sicilian blood orange from protected origin. The balanced sugaracid ratio makes the fruit ideal as the basis for this spirit. Together with the oils from the peel, it evokes memories of the freshest and most aromatic blood oranges on the palate, which last for minutes.
