The brand new Turkish Airlines Lounge at Washington Dulles airport, which opened in September 2016, is the Star Alliance carrier’s second lounge outside Turkey – after
Moscow Vnukovo (VKO) – and its first on US soil.
The décor includes hints of the design of the carrier’s flagship
Lounge Istanbul at Istanbul Ataturk airport, which is widely regarded as one of the best business class lounges worldwide. The food spread includes sandwiches, soups, hot dishes, and Turkish specialties. Other amenities include shared computers, complimentary Wi-Fi, bag lockers, a single shower suite and a prayer room.
Turkish Airlines passengers will soon be able to board their flight directly from the lounge.
The Turkish Airlines Lounge at Washington Dulles airport is operated by SAV primeclass, a Turkish company which operates several independent and pay-in lounges in Turkey, including the
Primeclass lounge and
Comfort lounge at Istanbul airport.
